    Egypt Partakes in HITB 2018

    Egypt, represented by the Egyptian Computer Emergency Readiness Team (EG-CERT), of the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA), will participate in the Hack in the Box Security Conference 2018 (HITB), on April 12-13, in Amsterdam, Holland.

    HITB is held annually, serves as a platform to discuss issues related to computer security. This year's conference will discuss several topics such as infrastructure security, hardware piracy, reverse malware engineering, malware analysis, and cryptographic applications.

    The Conference will include several events that discuss cybersecurity issues and global developments in cybersecurity.  It will also discuss means to collaborate jointly against the growing challenges in cybersecurity as well as how to deal with cyber-attacks. EG-CERT will participate in a competition on network penetration training that will be held during the Conference.

    The Egyptian Computer Emergency Readiness Team (EG-CERT) was established by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) in April 2009. Staffed by a team of 40 professionals, EG-CERT provides 24-hour support to protect critical information infrastructure. The team provides support to entities across the ICT, banking and government sectors, helping them address cybersecurity threats including Denial of Service attacks (DoS).
