    MCIT Holds Workshop to Put Into Force Follow-Up System For Technological Infrastructure at Schools Via Internet

    Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) recently organized a workshop on May 30th, 2010 to put into force a follow-up system for operating the technological infrastructure at schools.

    The workshop aims to train a coordinator from each governorate on using the system and following it up system at education directorates. The system monitors the different activities at labs and upgraded classrooms.

    It also detects malfunctions and manages the maintenance of the technological infrastructure supplied at 2000 schools that are part of the Egyptian Education Initiative (EEI) and 247 others that joined the project.

    The workshop was held at the MCIT premises in Mohandessin in the presence of Education Project Manager Eng. Ayman Helmy, Advisor to Minister of Education Dr. Ahmed Tobal and Eng. Abdel-Hamid Ghoneim, General Authority for Educational Building representative.
