    Date published: 17 May 2011

Continuing as a promising event, for its 15th round, Cairo ICT 2011 is held this year from 25th - 28th  of May 2011 in Cairo International Conference Center.

This year, Cairo ICT 2011 has a better display of technologies with a new hall that increases the space of an additional 25%. Serving vertical fields that range from health to oil and gas, from transport to tourism and real estate, Cairo ICT 2011 presents itself as the place where life shapes up in its modern application.

Cairo ICT 2011 combines telecommunication (for professional and other purposes), Information Technology (software, hardware and networking) and Satellite Technology (serving both telecom and media fields).

Such trend has always been adopted by Cairo ICT since started 15 years ago and continues to do so far the years to come.

In 2011 the world promises higher hopes for revival,  and Cairo ICT provides more professional networking and face-to-face contacts and business deals.

The event in its 15th round is marked by a different theme of networking opportunities. It witnesses a strong Egyptian presence as well as strong African and Arab participation. The forum this year encompasses significantly important sessions.

On the 25th of may, a session tackles the African cooperation aspects and the potential to be discovered in the African continent. This session is entitled “Unleashing the Potential of Africa through Building the Human Capacity”. Another session is held on the 26th of May named “the Arab Cooperation in Creating Call Centers”.

The South- South cooperation is now the strategic direction of African nations. According to new political vision, a strong will is born to strengthen all social and economic ties between African nations.

African countries have challenges to overcome, but cooperating together will bring more opportunities and open new horizons to develop different fields, for example: health, SMEs… etc.
