    Date published: 12 December 2011

The delegation of the Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage (CULTNAT), affiliated to Bibliotheca Alexandrina and MCIT, has returned from the Congolese capital Kinshasa after conducting intensive work sessions with the Ministers of cooperation, tourism and environment in Congo.

The trip is conducted as one of the executive steps of the Heritage Panorama project that is planned to be established during the coming period by Egyptian expertise.

The delegation was headed by the Center Director Dr. Fathi Saleh, who explained that the visit included a tour around the national museums premises and the natural protectorates in order to study the convenient places to establish the project permanently, which is scheduled to be inaugurated by the world presidents participating in the Francophonie summit in Kinshasa in October 2012.

Saleh has also said that the implementation of the Heritage Panorama Project in the Democratic Republic of Congo will have a positive impact on the Egyptian foreign policy, where the project will secure a continuous Egyptian presence with a cultural touch in the heart of the African continent, whereas the heritage panorama shall include among its Congolese possessions the Egyptian heritage as well.
