A Cooperation Protocol between CULTNAT and Misr Public Library

    Date published: 23 March 2013
CULTNAT signed a cooperation protocol with Misr Public Library in Giza on 23rd of March 2013.

The protocol seeks to exchange expertise, technical capabilities and human resources between both parties.

Dr. Yasser El Shayeb said that the protocol builds a long-term relationship between the two institutions that contributes to spread the cultural heritage awareness, especially the Egyptian civilization.

The protocol covers several aspects of cooperation such as establishing common projects and organizing joint conferences and seminars, Dr. El Shayeb adds.

Accordingly, CULTNAT is to benefit from Misr Public Library experience to address children, producing a collection of heritage publications for kids.

As part of the celebration of Misr Public Library anniversary, CULTNAT displayed a panoramic show called “Book of the Dead” that presented one of the oldest papyri in Pharaonic history.

The papyri displayed the afterlife beliefs of one of the wise people in the Pharaonic era named “Annie”.
The show was in an operatic form in Hieroglyph language, for the first time.
