    12th Arab Robotics Championship to Hold

    The 12th Arab Robotics Championship will be organized by the Arab Robotics Association (ARA), on January 8-10, in Kuwait, hosted by Sabah Al Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity, one of Kuwait Foundation for Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) centers.

    The Arab Robotics Championship is one of the most powerful competitions held in the Arab world in the field of robotics, for different age groups from six-year till university students, aiming to encourage student teams from Arab countries to participate and pay due consideration to technology, math, science and engineering.

    The Arab Robotics Championship aims to highlight the capabilities of those interested in science, engineering, technology and math through the challenges posed to participating teams in the competition, develop the spirit of creativity among participants in the field of robotics and provide a competitive environment for talented young people through competitions. This is in addition to developing skills of participants in engineering, electronics, programming and artificial intelligence as well as skills of cooperation, teamwork and team spirit; spreading the culture of robotics and its role in education in the Arab world; and exchanging experiences among teams and countries in the fields of science, engineering, technology and mathematics.

    Arab participating teams have made great achievements in international robot competitions which underscore Arab youth's abilities to innovate, create and compete when there are sponsors, supporters and a supportive scientific environment.
