    Nile University Launches Masters Degree Programs in CIT

    Nile University is resuming its academic postgraduate and research activities in the current academic year by launching a package of academic masters degree programs.

    The programs offered jointly with leading international universities are in the fields of Technology Management, Business Administration and Communications and Information Technology.

    The Technology Management Program (MOT) will be implemented in collaboration with the university of Minnesota one the US renowned universities while the Business Administration program will be offered cooperatively with the Spanish University University of Navarra.  The Communications and Information Technology program (software engineering) will be offered in collaboration with the Software Engineering Competence Center, an affiliate of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency - ITIDA.

    Nile University - located in Sheikh Zayed area, the 6th of October city, was established under a presidential decree passed in 2006.  It is a non- profit organization which profit is entirely directed to supporting and sponsoring its activities. 

    The establishment of Nile University comes in line with the nations plan to develop CIT, under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

    The university aims at establishing an outstanding scientific and technological base that is mainly concerned with applied researches in all the scientific fields.  This is to be fulfilled through cohesive partnerships with Egyptian business and industrial organizations specialized in CIT, as well as collaboration with reputable Egyptian universities and research centers. 

    The university council is formed through the Egyptian Organization for Advanced Technological Education - another non profit organization in which the MCIT is a partner.
