    AMECSE 2014 to Hold in SV Soon

    AMECSE 2014 to be held in Egypt at Smart Village's Convention Center on October 21-22. The event is organized by the Software Engineering Certification Center (SECC) affiliated to the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).

    At an earlier stage, SECC announced the opening of call for research papers to participate at the first version of Africa and Middle East Conference on Software Engineering, AMECSE 2014. The event will focus on topics related to software innovation policies and ecosystems; software economics; advances in new and emerging technologies with their impact on society and economic growth.

    A special focus will be given to contributions that discuss challenges, barriers and opportunities for exploiting software technologies and best practices in the region.

    AMECSE 2014 particularly promotes papers addressing deployment of the latest innovations in software engineering technologies and practices; along with policies and business models for software innovation stimulating entrepreneurship.

    A series of tutorials will be held as part of AMECSE 2014 to develop skills and advance awareness of software engineering practice. All tutorials will be half-days (3-4 hours) and will be conducted in parallel during the second day of the conference, Wednesday 22 October.
