    Date published: 7 May 2015

The Heritage Market-organized by the Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage (CULTNAT) in Smart Village-launched on April 29 to spread the spirit of authentic Egyptian heritage, disseminate the culture inherited from ancestors, develop and keep it from disappearing and inform the public on both the national and global levels about the countryís folklore.

Mohamed Farouk the Director of CULTNAT-one of the research centers of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and supported by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT)-has said the event is in line with the centerís strategy and efforts to preserve its heritage by integrating it into the daily life of the community. This is in addition to maintaining Egyptís cultural heritage sustainability in the future and not to fade away under rapid change.

A number of Artists have participated at the event to present their artwork, inspired by the Egyptianís nature, in order to highlight the close relation between art and innovation on the one side and the Egyptian folklore on the other side.
