    Date published: 19 August 2019
The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) and the United Nations Technology Innovation Lab (UNTIL) in Egypt are hosting Reboot The Earth: Youth Tech Challenge on Climate, on August 23-24, at TIEC premises in Smart Village.

The event brings together young techies and people around the world who share an interest in combating climate change, to create technological solutions to tackle current climate crises.

The event includes a series of social coding competitions across the UNTIL labs in Egypt, USA, Finland, Malaysia, and India.

Winners receive an invitation to attend the Global Climate Action Summit in New York City, on September 23, and a chance to showcase the best technological solutions at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, in January 2020. The final team will receive incubation and acceleration support from UNTIL, with the possibility of onboarding other promising tech-based climate action solutions.
