    SCC Orientation Session to Hold

    The National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) and Silicon Waha, in collaboration with Borg Al Arab Innovation Cluster, are organizing an orientation session on the Smart Community Challenge (SCC) program, on September 8, in Cairo, to introduce the program, its terms and conditions, and how to build effective alliances.

    SCC is a national motivational program for empowering Egyptian startups and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) of smart city technologies, to qualify them to carry out similar projects, leveraging Egyptian expertise and human resources, and implant global technologies.

    NTRA and Silicon Waha are responsible for providing the necessary infrastructure to create an enabling business environment for startups and SMEs, inside technology parks, by providing companies with the resources and consultation needed to transform their innovative ideas into successful business.

    Support includes developing means for marketing companiesí products and how to submit business offers to government bodies and institutions to help companies grow their business.

    The program first phase includes transforming Borg Al Arab Technology Park into a competitive smart city capable of developing products that contributes to enhancing the national economy.
