    Egypt Partakes in Smart Africa Council of ICT Ministers 2nd Meeting

    Egypt, represented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), will participate in the 2nd meeting of Smart Africa Council of ICT Ministers, on November 1, in Conakry, Guinea.

    The meeting will address a number of topics including Smart Africaís strategic plan (2020-2022), the constitution to transform Smart Africa into a regional alliance. This is in addition to discussing the internal rules of procedure of Smart Africa Council of ICT Ministers; the resolution regulating roaming and international communications within Smart Africa space; and Smart Africa Alliance's common data platform on ICT laws, policies, strategies and projects.

    Egyptís participation in the meeting aims to present its view on a number of these important topics.
