    Egypt Participates in Arab Health 2016

    Egypt, represented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), will participate in the Arab Health Exhibition 2016, organized on January 25-28, in Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, UAE. Arab Health is a significant annual exhibition that exhibits the latest medical technologies, including a range of hospital equipment, medical equipment, medical devices and technology.

    The 2016 exhibition will showcase more than 4,000 companies exhibiting their latest innovations to more than 130,000 healthcare professionals attending from 163 countries.

    The exhibitionís focus is on medical technology, laboratory equipment, diagnostics, physiotherapy and orthopedic technology, commodities and consumer goods for hospitals, information and communication technology in healthcare, surgical products and services, facility management, healthcare building technology, medical services, radiology, consulting services in healthcare, cardiology and medical publications.

    The Arab Health Congress features 20 conferences offering Continuing Medical Education (CME) points to attending medical professionals. The conference program brings a global appeal with international speakers covering a broad spectrum of medical specialties and disciplines.

    MCIT participation is in line with its keenness to identify and communicate with companies that provide solutions for automating hospitals in the Middle East and North Africa region.

    The Ministry is also ardent to get acquainted with new technologies in the field of health care and new international standards in this area. MCIT participation will help in conducting a comparative study of these solutions prices.

    Workshops based on the outputs of the visit can also be arranged with local market companies to motivate them to increase investment in such solutions. Participation is of great significance for the administrative staff in helping them to further enrich their knowledge which, in turn, benefits the sector as a whole.
