    ITIDA, DELL Technologies Launch Startup Competition for Developing Technological Solutions

    The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), affiliated to the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), in cooperation with DELL Technologies international, is organizing a startup competition for developing modern technological solutions and applications to help attain Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

    The competition targets promoting innovation among Egyptian startups to develop solutions and applications using emerging technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain, cloud computing and data science, known as ABCD Technologies.

    Through the competition, startups will receive technical guidance from DELL experts in the aforementioned areas. The competition also includes organizing workshops in Cairo, Alexandria and Assiut in the new technology parks, as well as meetings with technical Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to help grow their businesses.

    Winning startups will receive a full invitation to attend DELL Technologies World 2020 Conference, held in May, in Las Vegas, USA. The Conference is one of the major international events in the information technology field. Winners will also have the opportunity to join TIEC Entrepreneurship Accelerator (TEA) program.

    The competition is within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between ITIDA and DELL Technologies, aiming to promote the technological innovation and entrepreneurship eco-system, and enhance Egyptian startups capabilities.
