    Date published: 16 December 2019

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) is partaking in the Second Arab Public Relations Forum, organized by the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO), a specialized organization affiliated to the League of Arab States (LAS), on December 17-19, in Cairo, under the theme “Public relations in a changing digital world: a new role and new requirements.”

The Forum aims to discuss the readiness of Arab institutions to achieve digital transformation in communication and public relations, and to determine the future of replacing old-school means with digital means in this area. The aim is to improve the institutions’ mental image and build citizens’ trust and loyalty.

The Forum comprises a number of pillars, the most important of which are identifying the media landscape in the Arab World, the importance of changing behaviors positively to serve the community and setting the digital strategy and its practical application.

It brings together Arab, regional and international organizations, ministries, civil society organizations, representatives of both the government and private sectors, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and companies.
