    ITIDA Signs MoU with Irish Software Association Ahead of Dr. Kamelís Visit to Ireland

    Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) signed last week a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Irish Software Association (ISA) ahead of the scheduled visit of Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Tarek Kamel.

    The MoU, signed by The CEO of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) Dr. Hazem Abdelazim during his visit to Ireland, aims at boosting joint cooperation in software programming, IT services and expertise and information exchange in the software domain.
    The MoU also supports possible collaboration between IT companies in Egypt and Ireland and the expansion of trade missions and participation in international exhibitions.

    The cooperation protocol affirms the determination of Egypt and Ireland to share information on best practices of formulating intellectual property rights policies in the software programming field.
    The two sides have agreed on conducting seminars and workshops to discuss and assess their cooperation in a way beneficial to both entities.

    Meanwhile, Dr. Abdelazim had meetings at the Irish Ministries of Communications, Energy and Natural resources and the Irish Industrial Development Agency during which he presented the latest developments in the Egyptian ICT sector and the Stateís potentials and competitive edge in business process outsourcing (BPO).

    The Irish Software Association (ISA), which has represented the interests of software and IT services companies in Ireland since 1978, is the leading voice of software technology and Service in Ireland.
