    ELCC Organizes a Facilitator Training Workshop

    The E-Learning Competence Center (ELCC) organized a facilitator training workshop entitled “Institute Program Manager and Facilitator Training Workshop” held from the 21st till the 25th of June, 2009 jointly with Cisco Entrepreneurship Institute (CEI).

    The training workshop aims to train facilitators to deliver the e-learning courses of the CEI which are directed at Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The workshop comes within ELCC’s mandate as CEI’s regional academy to create a wide-reach delivery network of local institutes for the CEI e-learning programs.

    The workshop discussed the online learning community, Cisco Entrepreneur Institute curriculum, starting a business and growing a business.
    ELCC was certified in May 2008 as a CEI Official Training Center to help Egyptian entrepreneurs start and grow their own businesses based on practical and professional strategies using the CEI content and know-how to deliver CEI’s programs to SMEs. In this framework, ELCC has developed and localized one of Cisco’s courses -Business Essentials Course (IExec) -to address SME’s.

    ELCC is responsible for establishing and building the capacities of local institutes in addition to flowing down the training and assuring the implementation of CEI’s quality standards.

    The e-Learning Competence Center (ELCC) was established in September 2004 as an alliance between MCIT and Cisco Systems with the mandate of developing and delivering state-of-the art e-learning programs and helping other ministries and institutes establish similar competence centers.
