    ITI to Organize Seventh ICICT 2009 Titled “Human Capital Development for Progress”

    Information Technology Institute (ITI) is organizing the seventh International Conference on Information and Communications Technologies (ICICT 2009) due to be held from 14–16 December, 2009 under the auspices of Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Tarek Kamel.

    The conference, entitled “Human Capital Development for Progress” will be held in cooperation with the IEEE section in Egypt following the success of ICICT2008.

    ITI Director Dr. Mohamed Salem said the conference aims at expanding the interest circle as well as shedding more light on the efforts exerted for developing human resources on all levels.

    The purpose of such efforts, he noted, is to raise the competitive edge of the Egyptian workforce in the international employment market in different fields.

    This year’s event is expected to shed light on the major challenges facing the global human resource development, in which it will discuss the following topics:
    • Strategies, Planning & Human Capital Development.
    • Investments & Human Capacity Building.
    • Training & Education Delivery Trends & Techniques.

    Several experts from all over the world including representatives of national authorities, ICT companies together with researchers in the field and ICT leaders are expected to take part in the conference.
