    Egypt Hosts IDC-CIO Summit 2017

    The International Data Corporation (IDC) is organizing Egypt-Chief Information Officer (CIO) Summit 2017 on May 16 in Cairo, under the auspices of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Yasser ElKady.

    Being a strategic partner of the Summit, the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) seeks to help global research and advisory institutions specialized in the fields of technology and business to take advantage of visions and experiences exchanged.

    Under the theme "Enabling Dynamic Change for the Digital Era", the Summit allows CIOs nationwide to learn about the latest trends and technology practices and exchange real-world experiences with their peers. Panel discussions are held on the most advanced technologies adopted by institutions, key areas of technology investment and elements that will contribute to the success of projects in the digital era.

    Communication with international research and advisory centers contributes to enhancing Egypt's position as an attractive center for investment in the information technology in international classifications and reports. It emphasizes the sector’ developments and innovative and advanced technological services, which led to Egypt’s winning of the Outsourcing Destination of the Year 2016 award.
