    Cairo , 1 November 2007
Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif honored today at Mubarak Education City in Sixth of October 30 top students from all over Egypt, offering them advanced computers within the "PC for Every Top Student" initiative.

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Tarek Kamel, Minister of Education Dr. Yousry Al-Gamal and those of Military Production, Higher Education and a number of senior officials at the Ministry of Communications and IT and that of Education witnessed the celebration.

The PC for Every Top Student initiative, launched by Dr. Nazif, will provide 30,000 students nationwide with hi-tech computers as a means to encourage Egypt's brilliant minds and spread IT tools among the youth. This, in turn, will help build a promising information society serving the coming generations.

The initiative represents a model of the integration of advanced technology with the education process so as to develop the quality of education in Egypt.

The PCs offered within the initiative have been manufactured by four Egyptian companies and supported by Intel and Microsoft.
