    Premier Nazif Honors Egypt's Top Students within "PC for Every Top Student" Initiative

    Cairo, 1 October 2008

    Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif will honor mid October a number of top students from across Egypt, offering them advanced computers and laptops within the "PC for Every Top Student" initiative. 
     
    Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Tarek Kamel said the initiative comes as part of the ongoing cooperation between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and that of Education that aims at building a promising information society to serve the next generations.

    The two ministries put a detailed plan to avail Personal Computers (PCs) for top students nationwide, since, Dr. Kamel said.

    The PC for Every Top Student initiative, launched by Dr. Nazif, will provide 30,000 students nationwide with hi-tech computers as a means to encourage Egypt's brilliant minds and spread IT tools among the youth.

    The initiative represents an integrated model of advanced technology within the education process in a bid to develop the quality of education in Egypt.
