Due to the high demand of Egyptian university graduates with different disciplines to join Batch 33 for a professional training program provided as a free grant by Information Technology Institute (ITI), an MCIT affiliate, the Institute's management has decided to extend the registration deadlines till the 16th of September 2012 instead of the scheduled deadline for submission September 11th, 2012. Through the website: www.iti.gov.eg

So far, the number of program applicants has reached more than 8,000 graduates from various academies (engineering, computers and information, sciences, commerce and other specializations).

It is planned to select about 700 students for the new batch, which has an increase of almost 200 students from the previous 520 students, after they pass the tests conducted by the ITI to assess studentsí performance and measure their willingness and required capabilities to comply with studying these programs that were carefully designed to match the labor market requirements in Egypt and abroad.

The 9-month Professional Training Program aims to prepare Egyptian university graduates for the labor market in Egypt and abroad, to meet Egyptian and foreign companiesí needs of working in the IT field, thus employ Egyptian youth calibers at the highest international standards through its training on different specialties that are compatible and consistent with the requirements of this industry.

The Institute also provides the opportunity for top graduates in certain disciplines to continue their studies abroad through international missions, for the first time since the launch of the professional program 20 years ago.

Batch (33) program features adding two new specializations to the curriculum in order to open new markets for industries relying on innovative Egyptian skills and capabilities in the fields of: Nano Electronics and Mobile Learning.

It is worth to mention that Batch 32 included 26 different specialties in the ICT field, and its graduatesí recruitment percentage in Egyptian and international companies is about 81%.
