    Cooperation Protocol between SVC, Elmostakbal Urban Development

    Cairo, 4 May 2014
    The Minister of Communications and Information Technology Atef Helmy witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Smart Village Company (SVC) and, Elmostakbal Urban Development Company to study the establishment of an integrated project in Eastern Cairo similar to the Smart Village project in October 6 City.

    The protocol aims to use both parties capacities and expertise, to lead and market a successful project at the highest levels. Both parties agreed to prepare a feasibility study to find the best alternatives of joint cooperation between the two sides.

    SVC owns leading expertise in management, marketing and development of technology parks. This comes within the framework of the Stateís focus on activating urban development plans and real estate sector in Egypt.

    SVC Chairman Adel Danesh and Elmostakbal Urban Development Chairman Fathallah Fawzi signed the MoU, in the presence of a number of ICT and real estate sectors leaders and executives.
    The study targets to establish an integrated project at Eastern Cairo similar to SV October 6 City, including different global companies specialized in ICT, banks and financial services companies. This aims to create a business community with technological and economic elements to create thousands of job opportunities for youth.

    The newly established project pays close attention to applying global standards for clean and healthy environment known as green cities.
