    ICT Minister Opens Gadila, Talkha Post Offices after Being Developed, Transformed into Postal Services Centers, Providing Different Postal, Social Services for Citizens.

    The Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat, accompanied by Dakahlia Governor Ayman Mokhtar and the Chairman of the Egyptian National Post Organization (ENPO) Essam El-Saghir, inaugurated, today, Gadila and Talkha Post Offices, after being developed and transformed into postal services centers, providing different postal and social services for citizens.

    El-Saghir stated that inaugurating the offices comes within the framework of the comprehensive strategic plan implemented by Egypt Post, that aims to transform post offices into full postal services centers to provide government e-services, postal, financial and social services for citizens, effectively. He added that the post offices started providing different services efficiently after being developed, transformed into full postal services centers and equipped with the latest systems and modern technological solutions.

    The aim is to revolutionize the quality of services provided to citizens, enabling them to pay traffic fines, receive financial clearance forms, have birth certificates, family registration, marriage, divorce and death certificates issued, renew National ID cards, and pay electricity, water and gas bills. This is in addition to all other financial and postal services.

    There are 269 post offices in Dakahlia. Talkha office serves over 70,000 citizens and has highly trained employees, providing all services to customers, efficiently. Gadila office serves around 40,000 citizens, providing different postal services for citizens throughout the day.
