    Personal Status Document Archiving – Public Prosecution

    The project works on developing the mechanization and archiving of social status documents, as well as improving the basic infrastructure and modernizing database licenses. It also seeks to archive 20 million personal status documents within one year.
     

    Objectives:


    § Develop and promote existing applications and provide software licenses required for the project in the main information center
    § Create two units for e-archiving: one in in a safeguard room in the Cairo North and South prosecution above at  El Tahrir Administrative Complex and the other in Giza prosecution above for family affairs
    § Provide necessary interconnection lines between prosecutions above in Cairo, Giza and the Information Center for the Public Prosecution
    § Equip three computer and printer units to provide copies for documents, hence interact with the public at the location where the service is provided
    § Archive documents of marriage and divorce within the project’s budge
    Citizen services:
    § Acquire copies of registered documents, social status documents such as marriage and divorce certificates
    Technological Infrastructure used:
    § Communication and security network devices such as servers, computers, database storage units, software and applications


    Statistics:

    The geographical scope of the project consists of Cairo, Giza and Alexandria.
