Beit Hathor or "the House of Hathor," is the last phase of a four-year project of Documentation of the Cultural Heritage of the Bedouins of South Sinai (2007–2011).
§ Promote the conservation and preservation of the cultural and the natural heritage of ‘Serabit el-Khadim’ area
§ Develop a model for sustainable tourism
§ Established of an information center which included documentaries, publications, descriptive panels about the heritage of Serabit el-Khadim region, Braille panels, and various references about the cultural, social and archeological aspects of this area and its surroundings
§ The center was equipped with a 3D model of the Temple of Hathor, resting stop facilities, and a gift shop of Bedouins handcrafts
§ Beit Hathor offered guidance services to tourists, researchers and experts who have interest in ‘Serabit el-Khadim’ and its surroundings. It also offers consulting services for documentation of the cultural and the natural heritage of the Sinai Peninsula as a whole
