    Muslim Scientists Project

    The Muslim Scientists Project documents the history of Muslim scientists in various scientific and Intellectual fields. The project holds a database of a huge set of Muslim scientists, not limited to scientists linked to Egypt but extends to cover most of Muslim scientist who enriched Islamic civilization over the vast area covered by Muslim rule.


    Objectives

    § Document the new theories and inventions derived from Muslim scientists’ historic knowledge and research.
    § Document manuscripts and museum pieces related to these scientists.

    Future Prospects

    § Disseminate the documented information in forms of Culturama, portal, publication
    § Celebrate Muslim scientist’s millennium and/ or special occasions
    § Inaugurate the first phase of this project in the millennium of the famous Muslim surgeon Abu Al Qasim al Zahrawi who passed away in 1013 AD.
