Digital Development Centers
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has collaborated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to implement the project of “Digital Development Centers". The project is concerned with the institutional development of youth centers and the development of cultural, educational and training capabilities to implement development programs through promoting awareness-raising, dissemination of knowledge, education, and training.

To activate the role of youth in achieving digital development and building a digital society that keeps pace with the state’s strategy for digital transformation and participates in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Empowering and raising the competitive capabilities of youth using the latest ICT tools to increase employment opportunities, especially through freelancing platforms.

Main Objectives:
– Building a digital society through a network of digital centers nationwide to provide training and consulting services;
– Developing the digital capabilities of human calibers in the youth centers that have the technological infrastructure;
– Qualifying administrative and training calibers in the digital centers to provide various consulting and training services;
– Disseminating the culture of freelancing and identifying the requirements of the global market to obtain a financial return and achieve sustainable economic development; and
– Providing training services on newly developed programs in ICT, entrepreneurship, women’s empowerment, and digital marketing.
