In collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the First Metaverse and Artificial Intelligence Week is organized by Meta in partnership with Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) and the American University in Cairo (AUC) on September 12-14, in Cairo. Egypt’s First Metaverse and AI Week marks a milestone for stakeholders, including the government, private sector, industry, entrepreneurs, policy-makers, and academia to jointly design a roadmap for the uptake of emerging Metaverse technologies, with a focus on Egypt. The event agenda features sessions and panel discussions aimed at increasing the understanding of the Metaverse as the next iteration of the Internet and an area where Egypt can demonstrate early thought leadership and foster innovation.
