The IT Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) custom-tailored an array of “Skills Development” programs to fit our local university students and graduates, majoring in computer science and computer engineering.
The objective is to develop learners’ technical and professional capacities and qualify them for the IT market, through providing hands-on training on cutting edge technology trends.
These skills programs are developed to:
1) Provide interns for students during their summer long vacations,
2) Encourage IT companies to foster these interns,
3) Support senior students’ graduation projects,
4) Make up long-term specialized talent pool,
5) Meet the ICT market requirements,
6) Bridge the gap between universities and industry needs,
7) Furnish job opportunities,
8) Build technical and personal capacities,
9) Certify young calibers on top-notch areas,
10) Uplift competitiveness of local ICT enterprises,
11) Set up local mentoring network, and
12) Create students’ business culture.
