Business Setup



Egyptian-Spanish IT Innovation Program
ITIDA and Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), an affiliate of the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (MINECO), cooperated to launch the Egyptian-Spanish IT Innovation Program (ESITIP).

ESITIP aims to:

1)    Finance and support market-based research and technology development, and
2)    Promote business-led R&D&I cooperative ventures between entities in Egypt and Spain.

Companies from Egypt and Spain can submit their proposals to find a business partner from industry or academia. Each proposed project should last from one up to two years when accepted. Projects are susceptible to joint Egyptian-Spanish eligibility approval.

Thematic areas of proposals are open to all IT areas with a focus on:
1)    Strategic areas, such as wireless and cyber security, ICT for homeland security, and electronic and embedded systems for ICT apps
2)    Technology-trend areas, e.g. mobile apps and computing, cloud computing and data analytics and big data
