Fastest Growing Sector
ICT is the fastest growing sector in Egypt. It has hit new heights, recording a growth rate of about 16.3%, outpacing all state sectors in FY 2021/2022.

According to a report by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development on performance indicators of the Egyptian economy during the same period, the ICT sector is at the forefront in terms of the number and value of acquisition and merger deals in MENA in H1 2022. Egypt is also one of the top three active MENA countries for mergers and acquisitions, according to the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).

Home to High-Growth Companies
Egypt is home to several Fortune 500 companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, and Uber as well as to tech-powered startups like Instabug, Vezeeta, and Swvl. The country is leading the innovation scene in the region and attracting business moguls chasing tech-enabled solutions to today’s global challenges.

So far, Egypt has established 150+ export delivery centers serving 100+ countries across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia and catering to IT solutions, business professional services, and engineering research and development (ER&D) global demand.
