Developing and Building Digital Capabilities



State's Administrative Apparatus' Employees
The program aims to develop and build the digital capabilities of employees at the state administrative apparatus, whether those who will be relocated to the New Administrative Capital or those who will not.

The program consists of four pillars:
- Developing a digital culture
- Developing digital skills
- Upskilling employees at DTUs
- Developing skills in using New Administrative Capital applications

Digital Culture Development Programs
The programs aim to build a human-relying, rather than tool-based, digital culture. Promoting digital readiness among staff can help enhance the digital culture.

1. Digital Transformation Program for Executive and Supervisory Leaders

Objective
Promote digital culture and disseminate concepts of digital transformation, digital empowerment, and information on the role of modern technologies such as big data, AI, IoT, and blockchain in developing work within government institutions

2. Fundamentals of Innovation and Creative Thinking Program for Government Leaders

Objective
Promote a culture of innovation and creativity and support the application of creative thinking methodologies in government work to create a work model, develop government services, and enhance government excellence

Digital Skills Development Programs
The digital skills development programs aim to develop and build the digital capabilities of employees in the state administrative apparatus, guided by employee outcomes.

1. Fundamentals of Digital Skills Program

Objective
Promote digital culture and enable the effective use of ICT among all employees of the state administrative apparatus

2. Developing Digital Capabilities and Enhancing AI Employment in Egypt Program

Objective
Ensure work continuity at DTUs and enhance their role within government institutions and society to provide an enabling environment for digital transformation, promote digital culture, and upskill all segments of society in ICT and modern digital technologies

3. English for Management and IT Program

Objective
Develop the technical English skills of employees at the state administrative apparatus

4. Digital Institutional Development for Swift Justice Program

Objective
Develop and build the digital capabilities of employees in civil courts and judicial bodies to improve the work environment and speed up the litigation process in civil lawsuits

5. Capacity Building Program for Al-Azhar Institution Staff

Objective
Develop and build the digital capabilities of employees at Al-Azhar Institution to achieve human development and cope with digital transformation

Employees at the state administrative apparatus and at Al-Azhar Sheikhdom and its affiliates

6. Advanced Computer Skills Programs

Objective
Enable the effective use of information technology through international programs and certificates according to a standard that guarantees high-quality training curriculum and assessments

Staff Development Programs
The programs target employees at Digital Transformation Units. There are four types of programs for developing skills in certain areas:
- Leadership and specialized skills development programs for DTU managers
- Skill development programs for employees in infrastructure support departments
- Skill development programs for employees in business support departments
- Skill development programs for employees in applications integration departments
