European Bilateral Cooperation

Egypt maintains stable and excellent bilateral ties with the European countries that have always been supportive of the economic, social and political development in Egypt. For its part, Egypt has always been a key partner for European countries in issues of common interest, and is the focal point for dialogue between the North, South and the two Mediterranean halves.

MCIT is keen on deepening ties with European countries to leverage their experiences and competitive advantages, especially in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital transformation. It also seeks to develop partnerships between the Egyptian private sector and its European counterparts, especially in software development and capacity building.
