Egypt Post Chairman, PAPU Secretary General Discuss Enhancing Cooperation

The Chairman of Egypt Post Sherif Farouk and the Secretary General of the Pan African Postal Union (PAPU) Sifundo Chief Moyo have met to discuss enhancing cooperation in postal services, express shipping, and e-postal services, on the sidelines of the third session of the Council of Administration (CA) of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in Switzerland. They exchanged experiences and how to disseminate and implement Egypt Post’s success in developing the infrastructure and introducing new services fulfilling customers’ needs.

Digital Egypt Platform: Registration Steps

Digital Egypt Platform delivers several e-services that can easily be accessed, without having to visit service providers, including civil status, commercial registry, social insurance, and real estate taxes, among others. To access these services, citizens have to create an account on the platform and fill in the required data. These data include filling in the ID number, phone number, and others.

Digital Egypt Platform Provides 11 Combined Services: Deputy ICT Minister

The Deputy ICT Minister for Administrative Development, Digital Transformation, and Automation Khaled El Attar has revealed that 11 combined services will be provided on Digital Egypt platform during the coming period. They will include about 100 subservices using Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications to update citizens’ databases continuously. He also underlined that the platform has been developed to facilitate citizens’ access to all automated government services.
