Minister of ICT in his First Press Conferences: Young People and the 25th Revolution Casualties are Our Top Priorities

In his first press conference after taking the responsibility, minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Mohamed Salem stressed that the casualties of the 25th January Revolution and young people come on top of his priority list.

In his message delivered on Wednesday, Dr. Salem announced that the ministry is currently organizing a training program for 500 of the Revolution casualties, in order to provide them with needed skills to join call centers.

The initiative also offers 50 job opportunities, to be increased according to demand.
"This is the least to be done for the victims. Sympathy is not enough, people must act," Dr. Salem added.

According to the minister, Egyptian young people come on second place in his priorities. Dr. Salem believes that relying on the Egyptian youth is the only means to the Egyptian upswing.

In this context, he pointed out that his first decision after being assigned to this mission was to appoint 4 young calibers to assume leading positions at the ministry.

The young leaders are Dr. Sherif El Ghazali, manager of Human Resources Department, Mr. Mohamed Abdel-Wahab, Chairman of Cairo Contact Centers Park, Ms. Heba Saleh, Acting Chairman of Information Technology Institute and Dr. Ahmed Adel Darwish, Director of Human Resources sector.
