Egypt’s ICT Strategy Launching Forum

Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) is organizing a forum to launch Egypt’s ICT Strategy (2013- 2017), on April 11, 2013, at Smart Village Convention Center.

During the forum, government and private institutions, as well as civil society organizations are to get introduced to MCIT's short and long term priorities listed in the 5-year strategy: the main pillars and related visions.

In line with the protocols MCIT signed with a number of entities during the past few months, these agreements are to be showcased in detail, coupled with related projects to be launched in the near future. Revenue sharing model  between the government and the private sector is among these projects.

MCIT pays great attention to private sector partners whether large, small, medium or micro sized companies. Supporting those companies shall have a direct positive impact in boosting Egypt's economy through creating real job opportunities and opening new horizons and markets domestically and internationally.
Moreover, companies are to be briefed on the various funding programs offered by a number of banks and Egypt's Social Fund for Development (SFD).
