The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has organized a panel discussion on the ICT role in countering challenges of developing countries’ markets and economies.
The discussion has aimed to develop a new road map through which support could be provided to small and medium ICT companies to be more resilient, be able to expand their scope of work and be introduced to key strategies and portfolios adopted when penetrating new markets in countries with bureaucratic problems.
During the panel discussion entitled “Conquering The Chaos”, the Chairman of Social Venture Partners and former Chairman of Microsoft India Ravi Venkatesan shed light on the Indian experiment and how developing economies can benefit of it to attract multinational companies and prompt them to adopt and commit to long-term business projects and investments in those countries.
The panel discussion has also highlighted the economic renaissance India has witnessed for its relying on ICT application in improving the quality of information, thus reflecting investment’s decisions in achieving sustainable comprehensive economic development.
