The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and Systel Telecom have signed a memorandum of understanding to train engineering, computer science, and technology institutes’ graduates on technical and commercial skills to join the job market.
ITIDA has underlined its full support towards the human development initiatives and creating qualified calibers to answer the needs of the job market in ICT fields.
According to the MoU, Systel Telecom works with ITIDA to implement the training program “ITIDA/ Systel Certificate including training of students on the latest Motorola communication devices through concerned laboratories.
ITIDA added a number of tracks in business including communication, presentation, searching for jobs skills, as well as a number of basic skills to join the job market.
Systel Telecom is one of the worldwide accredited training centers in Egypt and the Middle East besides Basingstoke in the UK; Berlin, Germany; and Motorola in Smart Village Egypt. Trainers organize training courses in Motorola premises or affiliated centers in the UK, Germany, or at their clients premises in Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
During the past years, the company coordinated with universities and institutes to train students from 25 different entities as part of its social responsibility program. This is in addition to providing technical support to students graduation projects, helping them participate at “Made in Egypt” program and organizing visits and workshops and lectures in ICT field for students.
Established in 1983, Systel Telecom is one of the leading national companies in ICT; 150 employees were accredited at Motorola and Microsoft for their field and training experience. They provide training courses for technical support teams in Egypt and the Arab countries on the latest ICT devices.
