Egypt, represented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), is participating in the 20th African Telecommunication Union (ATU) Administrative Council Session 2019 on May 22-24, in Lusaka, Zambia.
The session aims to develop the ATU strategy for the next four years, in the light of the views and orientations of the Member States of the Administrative Council, and the new Secretary General.
In addition, the session is a great opportunity to present Egypt’s efforts to contribute effectively to the development of the ICT sector in African countries, on both bilateral and regional levels. This comes in line with Egypt's foreign policy that aims at strengthening its position as a key partner to the African countries in the sustainable development process.
