Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and IBM memorandum of understanding allows a huge opportunity for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to move to the Cloud.
ITIDA and IBM cooperation brings cloud computing solutions to the local Independent Software Vendors.
In line with the initiative, selected ISVs can collect a number of benefits which include a two-day free introduction to technologies and strategies of cloud computing, free coaching sessions offered by IBM, marketing ISVs’ solutions in the Middle East and Africa.
ISVs to benefit from the initiative will be selected based on ISVs with developed applications, being used in the local market, that plan to provide a solution on the cloud, and the company must be local with more than 50% Egyptian ownership. The headquarters must be located in Egypt (not a multinational) and registered in ITIDA database, among other criteria.
