Supporting students and encouraging innovation, the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA)-through its Information Technology Academia Collaboration (ITAC)-has launched a new round for sponsoring University Students Projects.
Selected students’ graduation projects-which are evaluated and screened to select the best among them—are funded through ITAC with a maximum of EGP 10,000 per project.
Students must be in the fourth year of engineering, computer science, or information systems studies in Egyptian education universities. Graduation projects should be in the fields of information and communications technology (ICT).
Proposals are evaluated by experts by means of using a unified evaluation forum where top project is selected to be funded.
ITAC brings value to Egyptian ICT Industry by fostering collaboration between industry and academia aiming at developing research and development based innovative products, thus positioning Egyptian ICT companies in the forefront of the ICT market, both locally and internationally.
