ITIDA Launches ‘Industry Voice’ Forum for Micro Enterprises


The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) organizes the Industry Voice Forum for “Micro Enterprises” on February 10 at ITIDA premises in Smart Village.

ITIDA has launched the Industry Voice Forum for “Micro Enterprises”, a new platform targeting industry professionals to engage with each other and ITIDA to reach a better understanding of the micro businesses challenges and requirements. The forum’s brainstorming sessions are designed in collaboration with industry professionals.

Recommendations from these sessions will be incorporated in adapting more customized initiatives that come with a higher impact on developing this special segment of the industry at the short, medium, and long terms.

The forum key objectives are to address challenges facing micro enterprises that are critically hindering their potential growth, evaluate the performance of ITIDA initiatives and foresee ways of enhancements for a better tuning, play a direct communication channel with the industry for sustaining the growth and guaranteeing the competitiveness of micro enterprises and collaborate in and innovate new initiatives.

A number of 50 ICT Micro enterprises are expected to participate in the event to highlight challenges hindering their potential growth.

ITIDA has set a number of conditions for participating micro enterprises including that they should be registered in ITIDA database, the number of employees shouldn’t surpass 10 in any company, the annual income not to exceed one million Egyptian pounds and be headquartered in Egypt.
