ITIDA Announces New Bundle of Capacity Building Programs


The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has announced a new bundle of capacity building programs for ICT companies with an estimated cost of 20 million Egyptian pounds.

The programs are in line with the role ITIDA plays to help ICT companies to improve their performance and meet the local demand in providing eminent services and products by means of offering best practices on the international level and developing business patters of the programs.

These programs target developing institutional capacities for ICT companies, improving administrative capabilities of employees of those companies, making funding sources available and creating investment opportunities.

ITIDA, therefore, has launched the first phase of InvestIT and FinanceIT to boost ICT companies’ readiness for funding necessary to support their abilities to develop distinguished products and services capable of competing locally and internationally.

The third phase of ManageIT has also been launched which targets developing skills of ICT companies’ employees.

The training programs designed to serve the ICT sector comprise special training courses including diplomas in marketing and sales, project management, human resources development, strategic planning and others to bridge the gap between skills required for employees in the different specializations and the ICT sector need for those skills to be able to compete locally, regionally and internationally.

Moreover, the third phase of GrowIT has been launched which targets building the capacities of the ICT MSMEs to improve and streamline their business processes in different areas of business management functions.
