The meeting also included an explanation for classifying the new scientific material that has been obtained. This is in addition to a free discussion on the celebration of Safer Internet Day 2016. A workshop was organized directly after the meeting on setting-up a network of experts on Kenana Online website.
These meetings are within the framework of MCIT interest in the information security and child online protection fields, via ensuring an ongoing communication between the concerned bodies.
In this context, the ICT Minister issued a decree to formulate a national committee concerned with child online protection. This is line with MCIT vision to apply child online protection nationwide, through collaborative efforts of all ministries. The decree named a number of concerned bodies in order to reach out a national strategy facing the challenges and answering the needs of the society nationwide.
