The Information Technology Academia Collaboration (ITAC), affiliated to the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), will organize a workshop on “Funded Projects in Biomedical Embedded Systems and Software” on February 23, at the Faculty of Engineering in Cairo University.
The workshop agenda tackles several topics, including discussing modern directives in biomedical software and systems, research activities and equipment available in biomedical systems engineering divisions at Egyptian universities. This in addition to introducing the programs of ITAC and the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC).
The workshop also consists of three sessions, the first of which addresses electronic systems of the biomedical applications. The second session tackles embedded software and systems of medical equipment and devices, while the third session deals with cloud computing and computer-aided detection system to analyze medical data.
ITAC program mission brings value to Egyptian ICT industry by fostering collaboration between industry and academia aiming at developing research and development based innovative products and services that place Egyptian ICT companies in a leading position in the ICT market, both locally and internationally.
