Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) is preparing for the launch of phase two of the RITI Advanced Management Program (RAMP) for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) cooperatively with the Regional IT Institute (RITI).

The program aims at positioning the Egyptian SMEs on the international information and communications (ICT) map.

ITIDA Board Member and Egypt’s IT Industry National Development Strategy Supervisor Mr. Amin Kheir El Din said the program focuses on building the capacity of SMEs through developing their human resources to enable them to compete in the international arena.

Mr. Amin Kheir El Din added the program will train 60 companies' managers and decision makers on Marketing, International Business Administration, Total Quality Management, Financial Management and leadership skills as well as developing creative thinking and problem solving thinking.

ITIDA has put the basis and criteria of selecting candidate companies to join the program, Dr. Khairallah noted, depending on the candidates' commitment and qualifications.

The first phase of RAMP was held end of 2007 where 60 managers of SMEs received advanced management programs.

Relying on unequivocal governmental support, ITIDA utilizes a vast array of advantages and privileges bestowed on Egypt and synchronizes public and private efforts in order to place the country high on the global ICT market scale.
