SECC Holds ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management Training Course


The Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC), affiliated to the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), will organize a training course on ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management on December 19-21, at SECC premises, while the exam will be held on January 12.

The purpose of the ITIL® Foundation certificate in IT Service Management is to certify that the candidate has gained knowledge of the ITIL® terminology, structure and basic concepts and has comprehended the core principles of ITIL® practices for Service Management.

The training course will cover a number of relevant topics, including service management as a practice, service lifecycle, key principles and models, generic concepts, selected processes, selected roles, selected functions, technology and architecture.

The course targets individuals who require a basic understanding of the ITIL® framework and how it may be used to enhance the quality of IT service management within an organization. This is in addition to IT professionals that are working within an organization that has adopted ITIL® to contribute to an ongoing service improvement program. This may include but is not limited to, IT professionals, business managers and business process owners.
