Final Phase of Tomouh Competition Fourth Round to Launch


The final arbitration committee session of the fourth round of Tomouh Competition will be held on January 29 at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), Mohandessin- premises.

Aiming at creating a new generation of aspiring youth who seek to achieve excellence and leadership in their social oriented projects, the Ministry of Youth and Sports has launched the Youth Social Entrepreneurship Program “Tomouh” in cooperation with the Egypt Information and Communication Technology Trust Fund (ICT-TF).

The feasibility studies of the projects submitted at early phases of the competition were evaluated, resulting in the selection of 19 projects to participate in the final arbitration phase. Among the projects selected are Smart Android Home with Panic Room, Power supply, Care-by-Care, Super Women, Awy Channel, Smart Education System, MamaMasr and others.

The Competition is within the framework of implementing MCIT strategy for empowering Egyptians in line with shifting towards the knowledge society, and creating a suitable environment to encourage and develop technological innovation and social entrepreneurship for youth. The Competition aims to strengthen social entrepreneurship by supporting youth to innovate in various fields using ICT, with a main goal to develop projects that are applicable to positively impacting the Egyptian society.
