Qodwa-Tech Online Training for Female Entrepreneurs on Digital Marketing Continues

The Central Department for Community Development at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) continues organizing the training program for female entrepreneurs on social media marketing skills, using interactive live streaming applications (online), as part of the ongoing activities of Qodwa-Tech initiative, from April 19 to May 2.

This comes as the Department follows up on implementing the pillars of the comprehensive technological development in remote and most needy areas protocol, for craftswomen in Aswan Governorate.

The program is joined by 30 female participants, 15 of which are from Aswan. A large number of participants from different governorates, as well, joined the program, which proves that the online training helped reach women nationwide.

This is in addition to leveraging this free training provided by MCIT through Qodwa-Tech initiative that targets empowering women economically and socially, and enhance their digital inclusion, especially in capacity building, through training programs that help meet their economic and social needs using ICT.

The online training aims to develop craftswomen’s skills in digital marketing on different social media platforms, such as Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. This is to help them market their projects more effectively through complete marketing plans.

The program includes a range of topics, including introducing marketing, the development of marketing tools, the cost-benefit analysis, marketing using digital and social media and e-commerce websites, managing advertising and e-marketing strategies.
